My...GOD!

Staying home is nice...but staying home for a full week with the flu is NOT! It sucks...deeply.
I have sooo much homework I need to catch up on. But, y'know...on the plus side... I did have a full week of drawing practice and extra sleep? ...FAIL.

Also this past week, I've been trying to fix my scanner! D=
It seems to be working fine, but the program I've been using doesn't want to cooperate...
My stepfather might have to reinstall the program so I can upload some pictures...~

BTW: I DO NOT HAVE H1N1! >_<



Things I've Been Working On:

Now, I know this journal is random and probably isn't worth your time, but I'm actually quite curious...

Throughout the weeks of high school so far and from previous years in elementary school, I'm always thinking of what attracts a person to a person. Isn't beauty what catches the eye at first? ...And what kind of beauty? People usually joke around how men always go for the beach-blonde, Play Boy bunny girl, while girls are attracted to well-built men with brown hair(?). For most people, they say, "Oh...looks don't matter." But don't they matter just a little bit? I mean...you at least want some "hotness" in the person you are attracted to...right? Whether it is their eyes, hair...or even shape?

And how do you know it is love? How do you all of a sudden realize that you like/love this person? I understand that this feeling is different for everyone...so I'm curious to know how you felt and how you knew it was love.

And what about a "type"? You know...for the opposite sex; they must have blonde hair, blue eyes, well built... If we narrow down all our choices to what they look like on the outside...what about the inside? Sure, they may be very beautiful, but what if "your type" turned out to be an asshole, or a bitch? You may have the looks down; but then the personality. Again with narrowing down your choices... If you stick to one thing; then you don't have the chance to meet an even greater person outside of your type. And another thought that came into mind...what kind of love do you desire~?

By what "kind", I mean...do you prefer the old-fashion love, or what...?

To be honest; I've always imagined myself having a sort of love like in animes. Y'know...the really cocky guy that's on the basketball team and shows no interest into finding love? Then one day, this girl runs onto the gym floor during practice, almost gets ran over by one of the members, he runs in, picks her up bridal style, and carries her off the court, they start fighting with each other for like...a month. Then one day, during a very a fight...they kiss?

And what about fairytales and movies? "Happily ever after", am I right? But...why stay with the same person forever? Don't you eventually move on, and find someone else?

When you do break up with someone...what do you do with all the memories that you did with them? Do they haunt your mind once in while? Or do they do not matter?

Do you ever get the thought that...the one that was truly perfect for you...was the person you loved many years ago...?

And what about "perfection"?

I am right that no one can be perfect for you, right? The only thing that makes them seem perfect is...what you love about them. Right? The way they laugh, or how their eyes glitter when they look at you or the way they talk or how they show that they love you?

But what about relating the feelings when you get a first crush to many years later? When you age, and go from person to person; does the feeling of love get deeper? Is it because of the experience of feeling you get from others?

And what about a first kiss or "making love"?

Out of everyone out in the world...why them? Why that one person?

Now, I apologize ~. I suppose it's hard for me to understand, because I have never experienced love. I only read it in books, watched in movies and...watch it in my own home.

This thought occurred to me while reading a book my sister bought me. Known as, "The Man of My Dreams".
I suggest you read it; I'm not telling you what it's about.

It really gets you thinking...like me.

MADE IT PASS HER FIRST DAY! ...surprisingly...

Muhaha; okay. So I guess it wasn't too bad.. I met a few new people; Hang, Megan, Molly, Cole (?)...
For semester 1; term 1&2; I have Math, English, French and Art~.
Semester 2; term 1&2; ......I'll look on the time table later.

I got lost in the morning; looking for the Main Office to pick up my time table.
There was an old lady at the front desk.
Looked nice.
But was a bitch.

I was a few minutes late for my first class..

Ah well ~

I was also having trouble with my lock for my locker.
A boy walked over.
His locker was beside mine.
Saw I was having troubles.
And helped me.
He then told me his name was Ian.
Wasn't too bad looking.
Was nice.

Hahaha...wait!
Don't get any thoughts, you...~

Yeah...I saw GP's journal, and wanted a sketch from her.
Since I requested; I have to do this.
Though, because I'm starting school on September 8th, I can not promise you that these sketches will be done within one week. It'll take a bit of time. I can sense right now - that things are going to get hectic in a few minutes...
Be specific on what you want - I also will not be doing a lot of detail (ex. it'll be just a blank background or a simple one [like a field]). It may be coloured if you want it to be, but other then that, black and white. I will also not do yaoi, yuri, hentai/ecchi..

I am exercising realism, and the result came out of this picture: [link]

Anyways...
I will add more stuff above if I feel the need I might have to.

Today, is the last day to pick up Time Tables...guess who didn't get hers? FML

Ugh...I'd get it myself if I could; but I can't drive and...I don't know where to get them. So...
I guess I'll have to get it on the first day.
